Nash Academy is a dog grooming school that educates and sets the industry to a high level of expertise and proficiency. Upon graduation, each graduate will have equipped themselves with the standards of the industry, but their skills are to equal their kindness, compassion and safety towards each pet groomed too. This standard-value is now used throughout the pet care industry.
The Academy is headquartered in Kentucky, but have other locations in the USA. They also have student exchange programs with Karin Kretschmer in Germany and Sepia Pet Care School in Japan.
Founders of the Academy, Vivian and John Nash, are also the creator of the International Judges Association (IJA) for Dog Grooming Competitions, an organization dedicated to standardization and fairness in the judging of dog grooming competitions worldwide. While President and Director of Nash Academy, New Jersey, Joey Villani, has been involved with Intergroom International for 25 years, during which time he has been instrumental in that organization’s branching out into Belgium, Italy and France, and is an IJA registered judge.
