1. Agency portfolio site: Sequence

Sequence is a London and Cardiff-based creative digital agency that’s been around for more than 20 years.

2. Personal portfolio site: Julien Bucaille

Julien Bucaille’s portfolio site is a fantastic example of a portfolio that reflects a designer’s style and interests. Using black and white animations and videos, he creates a portfolio that is unique and memorable.

3. News site: Outline

Outline is a news site that juxtaposes real news with a design that’s both modern and reminiscent of ’90s ‘zines and counterculture. The colors are bold and vibrant, the typography is huge, and they use animations to improve the overall UI and UX.

4. Photo site: Wired

Wired has launched a new photo site for browsing their most image-heavy content. Photos are displayed horizontally on the home page, with headlines taking up very little screen real estate. Click on an image to be taken to the story.
